Live Online April School Holiday Event – Archaeology of the Somme.

Archaeology is cool – and in this event Sue shows you the artefacts from the Somme she is currently researching, and their significance in understanding our past, so we can protect our future.

By researching and understanding these artefacts and lives of those who died over 100 years ago, we can look at parallels with our own lives, and the world we currently live in.

Sue’s research around Captain Jude, a young officer who died at the Battle of Ancre, the last Battle of the Somme, forms part of the session demonstrating the importance and significance of Remembrance.
