Archaeological Resources

Here you will find some of my archaeological works.

I love researching sites and the personal stories of the people who are associated with them. Sharing  my research is my way of opening up your interest into those who came before us, their personal lives, and how their stories belong to us all – for we are the sum of all those who have come before us.

Enjoy!

We Don’t Dig Dinosaurs: What Archaeologists Really Get Up To:

I edited this book as a dedication to my work colleague and friend, Emmett Connolly, who was brutally murdered when he went back to Ireland to visit his parents. Friends from around the globe contributed to the project which has resulted in a collection of funny, serious, thoughtful and insightful stories that will captivate you from cover to cover!

“I have not put this book down since purchase. Cover to cover non stop-a page turner. Interesting stories and insights. I never fully realised what a life as archeologist entailed. Your passion and love shows through, dedication to bringing the joy of archaeology to the masses. Thank you Sue for putting this together. I look forward to reading the next three books when they hit the shelves.”Boekelaar, Amazon Review

“Wonderful insight into what archaeologists actually do. Well worth it!” Paul, Amazon Review

Archaeologist Sue T. Carter knows full well the risks and rewards of a career in archaeology. She also knows how often people confuse it with the study of dinosaurs hence the title of her new book, “We Don’t Dig Dinosaurs!” (published by Xlibris AU). Here, she sheds light on this fascinating field of study and the interesting and varied experiences that can happen along the way.” Broadway World
